VELVET PAW ointment does NOT contain SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), parabens, GMO (genetically modified organisms), petroleum products, propylene glycol, thickeners and gluten.
Beeswax: It has emollient anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, while it helps the skin to acquire a soft texture.
Cocoa Butter: Rich in fatty acids, mainly omega-9 oleic, stearic and palmitic acid, it forms a membrane on the surface of the skin and therefore strengthens the skin barrier. Thus, it protects the skin from moisture loss and restores lost elasticity. In addition, it offers softness and a silky feeling after application.
Chios Mastic Tears: This invaluable tear is transformed into a nature’s blessed gift for centuries now and gives us its healing properties and not only that. Mastic has excellent healing and adhesive properties while it does not cause unwanted side effects on the skin (dermatitis etc) like other common healers.
Calendula Oil: Calendula has antiseptic properties, which are useful for healing wounds. As a skin conditioner, calendula extract stimulates collagen production and reduces the appearance of dry skin. It is a natural antioxidant that contains antifungal properties. As a result, it helps treating infections and also works as a natural hair dye, giving shine.
St. John’s wort oil: St. John’s wort oil (balsam oil) is known for its antiseptic, astringent, emollient and healing properties on the skin. Rich in volatiles, flavonoids (hypericin) and tannins, it provides anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory threat. Instructions
Put a small amount on your fingers and spread it on the surface of the paw or nose. Gently massage in circular motions until it absorbs.
In case of dry skin, irritation or infection, repeat the procedure at short intervals (2-3 times a day) until the problem is gone.
